SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 3,300 pound ground compactor being used in a construction project at an Emerald Hills house came tumbling down a hill and crashed into the backyard of a home at the bottom of the slope.
Firefighters arrived at the home on the 700 block of Winston Drive, where an elderly woman lives, around 11:00 a.m.
It's unclear how the accident happened or if someone was operating the machinery at the time.
10News learned crews were working on a project at the side of a home on the 5200 block of Roswell Street when some construction equipment somehow rolled down a slope behind the house.

10News reporter Rachel Bianco talked to one mom who said the construction equipment sitting up on the hill has made her nervous for awhile.
"What if someone was there doing their gardening or something? It's going to be a catastrophe," she said.
The machinery crashed into the backyard of the home and came to rest inside a storage shed.
A city inspector placed a sign on the structure saying it's unsafe, Bianco reported.
In addition, 10News reached out to the property management company but have not yet received a response.
No injuries were reported.
