SAN DIEGO - A woman known citywide for her Christmas decorations is once again turning heads with her display.
Gina Dobbins has been setting up the decorations at her home in Allied Gardens for a decade. She woke up and found 12 of her displays – worth more than $1,500 – missing from her yard.
After 10News' original story aired on Monday, several businesses and a San Diego city councilman donated decorations to make up for what was stolen.
"I mean, those are memories that you build over a lifetime and to see that disappear overnight is something we couldn't tolerate," said Councilman Scott Sherman.
Dobbins told 10News, "I'm just so grateful … It's not often that I'm at a loss for words but I truly am," she said.
She also told 10News the kind gesture has restored her faith in people and her holiday spirit.
