CHP said the pursuit began on southbound Interstate 5 near Old Town after a patrol officer clocked the car traveling more than 120 mph.
According to CHP officials, the driver then turned onto SR-94 eastbound and was pursued by a patrol car until the CHP unit experienced a tire problem and backed off near Broadway.
The driver continued on until the vehicle rolled as the driver tried to navigate the off-ramp at Massachusetts Avenue.
