SAN DIEGO - A child was struck by a vehicle in Otay Mesa, police said Wednesday.
The incident occurred just before 4:40 p.m. in the 3800 block of Via de la Bandola. Police say the child's mother, who was driving a vehicle, appeared to have accidentally run over the child.
The child was then taken to Rady Children's Hospital to be treated. There is no word on the child's condition or extent of the injuries.
