CHULA VISTA, Calif. — A South Bay judge dismissed all charges against a Sweetwater Union High School District employee Tuesday morning following allegations the special education aid had injured a child and endangered another.

The San Diego District Attorney's office told 10News reporter Adam Racusin last month that Michael Cobb, 44, faced a felony count of corporal injury upon a child and a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to a child by endangering health.

Judge Theodore Weathers said dismissed the charges against Cobb at today's preliminary hearing for lack of evidence.

The criminal complaint filed against Cobb showed the two incidents occurred February 18, 2016 and March 7, 2016.
