SAN DIEGO - A near-record crowd is expected at Sunday’s Chargers-Cowboys game at Qualcomm Stadium and the the demand for tickets is incredibly high. The Chargers and San Diego Police Department are warning fans to be mindful of the existence of an increased dispersal of fraudulent tickets.
The SDPD will have additional officers, both uniformed and undercover, monitoring ticket sales around Qualcomm Stadium.
The Chargers stress that the only way to assure ticket authenticity is to purchase tickets directly through the team, Chargers.com, Ticketmaster or NFL Ticket Exchange at Chargers.com/TicketExchange. Tickets obtained from other sources run the risk of being counterfeit.
At this time, only a very limited number of scattered single Club seats and suites remain available for purchase for Sunday’s game. To purchase tickets, fans can go to Chargers.com, call 1-877-CHARGERS or visit the Chargers Ticket Office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10-4 p.m. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 p.m.
