The scrimmages will match Skyline Tigers and Eastlake Panthers of the Mighty Mite Division of the American Youth Football Conference and Del Norte Nighthawks and Chula Vista Crusaders of the conference's Junior Pee Wee Division.

The youth players will line up with the Chargers' players for the national anthem, while youth football cheerleaders will line up behind the Chargers Girls for introductions. One representative from each youth football team will serve as honorary captains for the coin toss.

The Chargers will present a check for $2,500 to the American Youth Football Conference during a pregame ceremony in honor of their volunteers' dedication.

The Chargers distributed more than 2,000 tickets for the game to youth football teams in San Diego and Imperial counties.
