Federal regulators have dealt a blow to First Lady Michelle Obama's campaign for lunch reform after announcing plans to relax school meal rules.
Obama supported rules that restricted and lowered portion sizes in school meals.
But the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced it is now getting rid of daily and weekly limits of meats and grains in school lunches. Calorie limits, however, will remain.
The news comes after many students and parents complained that the new rules left children hungry.
