SAN DIEGO - A cat that was missing for seven years is back with her owners.
The cat named Sophia went missing from her family in Arizona seven years ago and found her way to the San Diego Humane Society and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals over the weekend.
According to the Humane Society, staff members were able to contact Sophia’s family thanks to her microchip.
A staff member with the Humane Society flew to Arizona Wednesday and brought Sophia back to her family.
