SAN YSIDRO - A one-legged man is in the hospital Monday after being hit by a car near the San Ysidro Point of Entry.
Witnesses told 10News the victim was hopping in the lanes of the southbound Interstate 5 when a car hit him and kept going.
The injured man was taken to the UCSD Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
The California Highway Patrol is trying to determine if the accident happened on the American side of the border.
