SAN DIEGO - The driver of a car that slammed into a car into a University City duplex refused medical aid.

The crash occurred at 8:37 p.m. at 9504 Easter Way, according to a San Diego Fire Department dispatcher.

Police said the driver lost control as he was heading down Eastgate Mall and Easter Way when another vehicle made an illegal left turn in front of him.

The driver was able to get out of the car with cuts on his hand.

10News learned that the homeowners were at the gym at the time of the crash.

Building inspectors were called to the scene.
