SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Nearly a dozen cars had their tires slashed or punctured in City Heights on Thursday.

The cars were parked along 37th Street near Dwight Street.

A security camera captured what looked like two teens or young adults seemingly strike a rear tire of an SUV parked on the near of the block.  The two people then continued walking down the block and out of frame.

That video was recorded around 3:30 p.m. Neighbors hope it can help find the people responsible.

“I believe the parents should be held accountable for the damages that their children did, and they should be reimbursing all the neighbors for the tires that they had to replace,” said Linda Sundy, who had one of her tires slashed.
