Car hits school bus on I-5 in downtown

SAN DIEGO - A car allegedly hit an empty school bus and then rolled on Interstate 5 in the downtown San Diego area Monday morning.

The collision occurred at about 9:20 a.m. on Interstate 5 northbound, near Market Street, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page.

There were no students aboard the bus and there were no lane closures.

Both drivers were being transported to nearby hospitals with minor injuries. CHP said. The details of the crash were not confirmed.
