SPRING VALLEY, Calif. -
A car slammed into a Spring Valley church on Saturday.
The crash occurred at about 7 p.m. at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in the 3900 block of Kenwood Drive.
An event was under way at the church at the time of the crash, but no one was injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.
