BLOSSOM VALLEY, Calif. - San Diego Sheriff deputies concluded Tuesday that the report of a burglary at a home being fumigated in Blossom Valley was a false alarm.

The incident was reported at 8 a.m. in the 15000 block of Driftwood Creek Road.

Deputies responded to the scene. According to initial reports, authorities were trying to determine whether the suspect was still inside the tented home. They later told 10News that no burglary occurred.

The owner of the home passed by the house and saw a strange car in the driveway. He said he found a tear in the side of the tent and called deputies.

Deputies and a fire crew responded to the scene. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
