A 4-year-old Colorado girl is so tired of hearing about the presidential election it drove her to tears.
Abigael Evans and her mother were listening to NPR Tuesday on the way to the grocery store when the girl started tearing up.
When her mother asked why she was crying, Abigael said, "Just because I'm tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney."
NPR got wind of the story and posted an apology to Abigael on its website titled, "Dear Little Girl: Sorry We Made You Cry About 'Bronco Bamma' And Mitt Romney."
The note went on to say, "We must confess, the campaign's gone on long enough for us, too. Let's just keep telling ourselves: 'Only a few more days, only a few more days, only a few more days.'"
NPR later posted a photo from a reporter with NPR member station KUNC saying, "Abbie is happy now thanks in part to an NPR Politics pin."
