On May 23, just five days from his first birthday, Louis Michael Oliver suffered head and spine trauma at San Diego Daycare in the 4300 block of Mount Davis Avenue, San Diego police and the medical examiner's office concluded.Louis died at Rady Children's Hospital from his injuries on May 24.Court documents said the focus of the investigation has been on James Nemeth, who ran San Diego Daycare since 2009 until the facility's license was suspended by the state in July.In July, 10News tried to speak to Nemeth, but he refused to comment on the incident.Mike Oliver, Louis' father, was too upset to discuss Friday's homicide ruling. His wife told 10News that instead of police notifying them of the update before it became public information on the Medical Examiner's website, they were notified by neighbors who saw the report on the news. San Diego police did not comment on Friday's homicide ruling and did not reveal if any arrests have been made in the case.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
