A body was pulled from the water at Quivera Basin on Monday which may be that of a man who jumped from a bridge in Mission Bay one a week ago.

Lifeguards told 10News Monday evening that the body had been in the water for some time.Although lifeguards would not confirm the identity, crisis teams were sent to talk to family members of the man who jumped from the Ventura Street Bridge last week. The man was a 24-year-old Chula Vista resident who apparently told a friend he wanted to take his own life.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
