Body found in pool of North Park hotel

SAN DIEGO - The body of a man was found at the bottom of the swimming pool at historic Lafayette Hotel in North Park early Friday, police said.
An employee found the body at the large 1940s-era hotel in the 2200 block of El Cajon Boulevard around 6:15 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Frank Cali.
No other details were immediately released.
