SAN DIEGO - A Sig Alert was issued Friday afternoon after a big rig truck overturned on northbound Interstate 15 at Interstate 8, blocking the transition road to eastbound and westbound I-8.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
As of 5:30 p.m., lanes remained blocked. CHP officials said lanes won't be re-opened for another 3-4 hours.
