SAN DIEGO - A vehicle struck and killed a bicyclist on a Kearny Mesa freeway on-ramp Thursday.
The fatal accident on the on-ramp from eastbound Clairemont Mesa Boulevard to Interstate 805 was reported shortly before 6 p.m., according to San Diego police.
The bicyclist died at the scene. There was no immediate evidence that intoxication played a role in the collision, San Diego Police Department Officer Dino Delimitros said.
