A bicyclist suffered a life-threatening head injury when he was struck by a car door in North Park and fell to the ground, police announced Tuesday.The 46-year-old bicyclist was struck while riding eastbound in the 2500 block of University Avenue about 5 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.The car door that struck the bicyclist was opened by a 22-year-old woman who was getting out of her vehicle that was parked along the street, Delimitros said.
