SAN DIEGO - Police are searching for a man who robbed a Carmel Valley bank Thursday afternoon.
San Diego police said the robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank on 3445 Del Mar Heights Road happened just after 3:30 p.m.
Police said the man walked into the branch and demanded cash from tellers. He then fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
According to police, the man was last seen running to the Signature Point Apartments across the street. He remains at large as of 4:30 p.m.
The man was described as white, in his 20s, 5 feet 9 to 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a white baseball cap, dark shirt with print on the front, blue jeans and black Vans shoes.
Police said the suspected robber has sleeve tattoos on his arms.
No injuries were reported.
