SAN DIEGO - Authorities have released photos and video of a man suspected in the fatal shooting of a local barbershop owner.
According to San Diego police, on May 9, at about 11:30 a.m., a man walked into the Official Cutz Barber Shop (5404 Redwood Street) and opened fire, striking 32-year-old Lamar Canady.
Officers and emergency crews responded, but Canady was declared dead at the scene.
The suspected gunman was seen running from the barbershop following the shooting.
On Monday, authorities released photos and video of the suspected gunman in hopes that the public will recognize him.
He is described as black, in his mid 20s with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a gray baseball-style hat, a dark colored T-shirt with "A Eagle" written on the front, dark colored pants and white tennis shoes. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.
