SAN DIEGO - A woman suspected of killing her wife at their San Carlos apartment three weeks ago was arrested Tuesday.
Tiffany Nowden-Vale, 39, had been at large since the evening of June 5, when 38-year-old Russina Vale was found dead in their residence in the 7700 block of Mission Gorge Road, according to San Diego police.
Police have not disclosed a motive for Vale's death. She suffered stab wounds to her upper body.
A U.S. Marshals Service task force found Nowden-Vale at a home in the 2200 block of Market Street in Sherman Heights about 1:15 Tuesday afternoon and arrested her without incident.
She was expected to be booked into Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on suspicion of murder, homicide Lt. Mike Hastings said.
Vale and the suspect got married Dec. 3, according to the latter's Facebook page.
