SAN DIEGO -

An argument between two drunken friends in Morena ended with one stabbed and the other under arrest, police said Saturday.

The stabbing in the 1200 block of Goshen Street was reported about 6:30 p.m. Friday, San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings said.

The two men got into a dispute over a woman and dinner plans, Jennings said. Police said the suspect, a 54-year-old man, tried to stab his friend in the ribs but missed and cut his arm.

Police arrested him in connection with the attack and treated the other man for a minor stab wound, Jennings said. No names were released.
