The OTC is already home to the largest outdoor archery range in North America. The new $14 million project will make Chula Vista home to one of the best archery facilities in the world.

"It's going to be huge," said archer Brady Ellison, who is ranked number one in the world. "It's going to be the best training facility in the world."

The facility will allow archers to shoot indoors or outdoors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

"It's huge being able to train 24/7… during the winter, we can come in here," said U.S. Paralympic archer Jeff Fabry.

Construction is slated to begin this fall with a grand opening late next year. When it is completed, the OTC in Chula Vista will be arguably the capital for two very different sports.

BMX riders already flock to Chula Vista to train. The OTC is home to two Olympic replica courses: one from the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and one from the upcoming London Olympics.

The OTC also reopened its Team USA Shop. It is only one of two official Team USA stores in the world. The other is in Colorado Springs, Colo. at another OTC. The only other way to buy official Team USA gear is to go online. All proceeds will go to fund Team USA.
