SAN DIEGO - Actor Charlie Sheen, who was mentioned in the angry manifesto posted by a former Los Angeles police officer accused in the shooting deaths of three people, has posted an Internet plea for the man to call him.
The video, which is posted on TMZ.com, has Sheen addressing a camera.
"Christopher Dorner? Charlie Sheen," the actor says. "You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for you kind words. I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing."
In the manifesto, the former LAPD officer Dorner called Sheen "effin' awesome."
Authorities on Saturday continued their search for Dorner in the San Bernardino Mountains.
