An ex-con has pleaded not guilty to charges that he shot and killed an Oceanside police officer during a traffic stop last Friday.
Adrian Camacho, (pictured, right), 28, was ordered held without bail pending a July 23 court appearance.
He was accused of killing Officer Tony Zeppetella, (pictured, left), on Friday.
Zeppetella, 27, was shot three times as he made the stop in the parking lot of the Navy Federal Credit Union on College Boulevard.
Camacho was arrested after a four-hour standoff with police.
