New hospital ratings have been released for hospitals around the country, and some San Diego County hospitals didn't do so well.

The Leapfrog Group released the spring 2016 ratings on Monday.

Each hospital is given a grade ranging from A to F.

San Diego had some A grades, including Tri-City Medical Center of Oceanside, Scripps Memorial Hospital of La Jolla and Kaiser Permanente.

The worst hospitals in San Diego include Sharp Memorial, Paradise Valley, Alvarado and Palomar. All of those hospitals received a grade of C.

On the Hospital Safety Score website you can click on the individual hospitals' rating and see how each one fares in several different areas, such as infection rate, the staff, problems with surgery, etc.
