A Single Moment
By Don & Sue Brower
In memory of those who have fallen in the past and on September 11.
A single moment,
One single breath,
No one saw it coming,
Not even a soul.
In one single breath,
They experienced death.
Did you think of the tears?
Did you think of how you made people feel?
Did you hope that our nation would never heal?
Did you think of the kids left alone,
Without anyone?
I hope one day you realize what you have done.
Did you think of the parents left without their kids?
Did you hope that they would cry?
Do you like to watch people die?
Now it’s your turn.
But this time, we are going to watch you burn.
