September 11 will be here soon, Where will you be what will you do? As the day passes by, Many will see that tear in your eye. You can't help, but remember when, That first plane hit, oh God and then, The second crash, we all knew It's an attack, what do we do? The images of those brave firemen, Let others out while they rushed in. We will never see them the same way, We never will, not after that day. They are true heroes, each and every one, No matter what, they got the job done. Our lives stopped and days went by, We watched and watched and could only cry.
Those responsible will have to pay, They'll have to pay to Him someday. Osama Bin Laden you are so sad, You have no clue, you never have. Change won't come by simply killing. Change will come but you have to be willing, To love others around the world, Every boy and every girl. No matter what they believe inside, It's not up to you to decide, What is right and what is wrong, Who should go and who belongs. Ironically though it did not work, What they planned, all the hurt. It made us all feel like one, We will not hide, we will not run. This is America, one thing's for sure, We will survive we will endure. Whatever it takes, no matter how long, This in one country that will stay strong. We will do what needs to be done, To protect ourselves and our young. The United States is the one, Who likes to play and have fun, But mess with us and you will see, We are but one big family. No matter what our differences, religion or race, We are just one big human race. One nation under God, that is true, One thing that happened is our family grew, We received love from all over the globe, From our best friends and even our foes. Everyone knows a wrong was done, As the years go by, we have won.
As the day goes by and by, Hold all those who said goodbye. In your hearts, in all you do, Remember them and those they knew. Hang a flag hang it high, Look up in that big blue sky, Say thank you to all those folks, Looking down and then who knows, Hopefully the day will come, When we can tell them job well done.
