SAN DIEGO -- The driver of a catering truck fled the scene after crashing into a home at Hartford Court and Clairemont Drive in Clairemont, 10News reported.

The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. Monday, but authorities weren't called for three hours because the two people living in the home didn't even realize something had hit it.

A gas line broke and San Diego Gas and Electric crews were called to the scene to fix the leak.
