Unit10 Investigation: Hate Music

Local Record Label Helps Fuel Racial Hatred

William Pierce is an avowed racist who Timothy McVeigh once said served as an inspiration for the Oklahoma City Bombing. Video Unit10 Investigation: Hate Music Now the same man is reaching out to America's youth through a Neo-Nazi music label that proclaims itself to be "The Soundtrack For A White Revolution." Pierce's Resistance Records is just one of the dozens of labels that carries race-driven music, like that of the late '70s punk band Skrewdriver. Very few stores around the country will even sell the type of hate music that Pierce solicits. So most of the approximately 200 racist bands playing in the U.S. have taken to the Internet. Group giving the Nazi saluteWhile Pierce's label is the largest distributor of hate music in the U.S., 10News has discovered that there is a record label based in America's Finest City -- Vinland Records. Vinland's P.O. box is registered to 29-year-old David Kuehn. Kuehn refused to talk to 10News but the Anti-Defamation League says that Vinland and countless other hate music sites are linking activist racists around the world. On one such site, the discussion goes well beyond music. The site includes sections on the importance of being physically fit, so as to be "a dangerous opponent for ZOG and their minions." "ZOG" is racist slang for "Zionist Occupation Government," a reference to the belief that Jews are conspiring to run the world. Adolph HitlerOn the same site, a number of pages are dedicated on how to avoid getting caught when committing a crime, including tips on how to effectively dispense of evidence. All of this, the Anti-Defamation League says, is driven by the hatred found in music from labels such as Vinland. Additional Resources:
