San Diego -- Makers of a new soda pop for sale claims to turn you on. This drink tastes like cherry soda and the warning label says "this beverage will arouse you." The drink is named "Turn On." "Turn On" has some of the same ingredients listed in energy drinks -- guarana, ginsing, and lots of caffeine -- but doctors warn these drinks are not for everyone. Children, pregnant woeman, and those with high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes should avoid the drink. "Turn on" is also banned in France and Denmark because the ingredients are illegal in those countries. The makers insist the drink is safe. However, does the drink live up to its name? 10News had varied results about whether the drink worked. "It was a good drink, but I didn't feel anything as far as urges or anything or I didn't feel turned on," says Turn On tester Corey."I think the only thing I could feel was having energy." stated Turn On tester Julia. "It won't satisfy the word universal. People will have different reactions to it, but the majority of people claim it definitely helps enchance their romantic life," said Turn On Represenative Howard Hersch. Turn On is sold online for about $3.50 per can and will soon be available in stores nationwide. For more information, visit www.2turnon.com.
