Five teens were arrested Tuesday in connection with fires believed to have been intentionally set at a Poway school last month.

Sheriff's officials said the five juveniles -- all students at Rancho Bernardo High School -- are linked to a series of fires set throughout the campus of Meadowbrook Middle School (12320 Meadowbrook Lane) on April 11.

According to sheriff's officials, deputies and the sheriff's Bomb/Arson Unit were called to the school after a custodian saw a poster, trash can and locker were set on fire.

Sheriff's officials said tips from school police, the sheriff's department and San Diego police lead to the arrest of the five teens.

The case will be submitted to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office this week for review, according to sheriff's officials.
