Motorists Want Cameras Removed
Some angry San Diego motorists filed suit Friday against the company who makes red light traffic cameras.
The defendants claim that Lockheed Martin cameras (pictured, left) do not work fairly and want them removed from their 40 spots around the county.
Lawyers say that the cameras are not properly programmed and Lockheed Martin has a vested interest in citing people. The company gets paid $70 out of every ticket paid.
Because 150 separate lawsuits have been filed, the case is scheduled to last a few months, according to 10News.
