The state is ordering a local chain of car repair shops to shut down.

After an undercover sting, the Department of Consumer Affairs issued a temporary restraining order against "On Time Smog and Auto Repair."

Three shops in the chain are accused of overselling parts and services and giving false and misleading statements to customers, reports 10News.

The owner of the chain would not comment on the allegations.

"On Time Smog and Auto Repair" is also facing criminal charges.

They have two days to shut down.
