Agent Fires Shots Into Van; Chase Ensues

EL CAJON, Calif. -- An investigation is under way after an officer involved shooting in El Cajon, 10News reported.
Border Patrol agents followed a van full of suspected undocumented immigrants Monday night.After a brief confrontation, an agent fired shots into the van, wounding one passenger.The driver sped away, leading police and border patrol on a chase that ended when the van smashed into a building at Grossmont High School.Several people were detained.The injured passenger is expected to recover, according to 10News.
