CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Carlsbad police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a busy street, 10News reported.
A newspaper delivery man spotted the body in the No. 2 lane of Carlsbad Boulevard between Palomar Airport Road and Breakwater Road at about 3 a.m.
Police said the body is that of a white male in his mid 20s. He had serious head injuries.It was thought at first that he might be the victim of a hit and run, but now Carlsbad police are looking into the possibility that his death was a homicide.The southbound lanes of Carlsbad Boulevard was closed between Palomar Airport Road and Poinsettia Lane for several hours while authorities investigated the scene.
