Pilot Program Using Goats To Clear Brush

SAN DIEGO -- Goats could soon help the city of San Diego with brush management, 10News reported.
The San Diego City Council is considering a pilot program to use herds of goats to munch away the brush that can fuel another firestorm.A demonstration project began last week in Tierrasanta. Other areas of town are being considered.The goats are able to do the work that humans do at a cost of about $5,000 an acre.
