SAN DIEGO - A gun-wielding rapper allegedly shot and wounded three people early Sunday outside an Otay Mesa residence, where an album release party was taking place, San Diego police said.

An argument broke out between the rappers and a group of party-goers around 3:10 a.m., San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said. The dispute spilled into the street in front of the party house on Kenalan Drive near Del Sol Boulevard when one of the musicians pulled a gun and shot three people, he said.

The suspects then sped off in a dark colored SUV, Delimitros said.

Police did not consider the victims' injuries to be life-threatening.
