SAN DIEGO - A 35-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries Saturday morning when the car in which she was a passenger struck several parked cars in Mission Beach, police said.
San Diego police Officer David Stafford said the 35-year-old woman driving the BMW, which was traveling westbound in the 900 block of West Mission Bay Drive around 2:48 a.m. when it veered to the right and struck the parked cars, complained of neck pain following the crash.
A 19-year-old woman who had been in the front passenger seat complained of chest pain, he said.
All three were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The San Diego Police Department Traffic Division is investigating.
