The victim pulled his Honda Civic into the parking lot of the CVS store at 320 South Twin Oaks Valley Road about 8:40 p.m. Sunday, according to sheriff's Sgt. Matt Blumenthal.

The three armed suspects approached the driver as he was still inside the car, ordered him out of the vehicle and forced him to lay on the ground, Blumenthal said.

The suspects then took off in the Honda in an unknown direction, Blumenthal said.

The stolen vehicle was described as a white two-door 2000 Honda Civic with California license plate 4TDC580. The car has some damage to the front left quarter panel.

The suspects were all described as being clean shaven white or Hispanic men who were about 20 years old, 5 feet-8 and 180 pounds. They were wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts, dark pants and dark gloves. All three were armed with black semi-automatic handguns.

The San Diego County Sheriff's Department asked anyone with information to call them at (760) 510-5200.
