3 officers treated for smoke inhalation after fire at condo complex in Mission Valley

SAN DIEGO - Three San Diego police officers were treated for smoke inhalation following a fire at a condominium complex late Friday in Mission Valley.

The fire occurred at the Mission Village condos on Hotel Circle South just before 11 p.m. It was knocked down at about 11:30 p.m.

According to the fire department, three officers who had been evacuating residents from the building were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. One resident was also taken to the hospital to be treated.

No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
