CHULA VISTA, Calif. - A Chula Vista fire that started in a bedroom displaced six people Wednesday.
The fire was reported after 2 a.m. in the 400 block of Rivera Court.
Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze in about seven minutes.
Investigators believed that the fire originated in the mattress, which then caused the bedroom to catch fire.
The Red Cross is assisting the three adults and three children who lived in the home.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
