SAN DIEGO -- Police search for three men accused in connection with a daring daylight jewelry heist, 10News reported.
The robbery happened just before 11 a.m. Friday at Collins Family Jewelry in Mira Mesa.
According to witnesses, the men were all wearing masks and carrying guns. They allegedly ordered everyone inside the store to get on the floor. The suspects then smashed the cases and got away with handfuls of jewelry.Bill Collins, from Collins Family Jewelry, said, "I was just worried about all of our people who were in there, as well as the customers. There were a number of customers in the store.
