The grocery strike is entering its fourth month with a new move from the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union to put choke the food supply line.

Grocery workers started striking the Ralphs loading docks Tuesday morning.

In October, union leaders pulled the pickets from all Ralphs stores saying they wanted to give customers the option to shop there.

Union leaders were hoping the move would encourage Ralphs to break ranks with the other chains and end it's lockout, but it never happened.

Workers asked the Teamsters not to deliver products to the loading docks. This will force the Ralphs management to unload the products themselves.

Meantime, formal talks are set to resume later this month. A secret attempt to settle the strike failed over the weekend.

The main sticking point continues to be the cost and scope of health care benefits for current employees and future hires.
