SAN DIEGO -- A Navy man was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography, authorities said Tuesday.Joseph Valencia Gonzales II, 36, was taken into custody at Naval Base Coronado Monday afternoon, according to the FBI.At the time of his arrest, the San Diego resident was allegedly sitting in his truck in outside a fast food restaurant on the base, using the business's wireless Internet service to view and download child pornography via a laptop computer that contained at least 45 sexually explicit photos and videos of minors.A criminal complaint filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in San Diego charges Valencia with possession of child pornography.Valencia, who is assigned to USN Carrier Strike Group 7, faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if convicted, according to the FBI.Do you have more information about this story?
