CHP Received Calls Of Man Dancing In Lanes

SAN DIEGO -- A man seen apparently dancing within lanes of state Route 163 in Mission Valley was fatally struck by a passing motorist in an SUV early Thursday, authorities said.The man, whose was not immediately identified, was struck on the southbound side of the highway, north of Friars Road, at about 1 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.He died at the scene, the CHP reported.Shortly before 1 a.m., a motorist called the CHP to report that a man was dancing within lanes of the highway. The CHP then received a call from the motorist who struck the man.According to the CHP, the second motorist -- who was driving a 2008 Toyota Highlander -- said that he had hit something running across the highway.
